“Don’t be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.”
Emerson
Hello friends,
I stepped away from writing these past two weeks to stretch out in a bit of newfound spaciousness. Today’s note is decidedly light, but I didn't want to leave you empty-handed. Here are a few thoughts that have been circling my mind - next week, I’ll share the exciting place they’re leading to.
Warmly,
Javier
We are freer than we think. At any moment, in any situation, we can remake who we are. We can wake up asking not just, “What will the day bring me?” but also, “Which me will I bring to the day?”
This is it. You’re only here a little while. Being scared is OK, but it shouldn’t keep you from doing the things you love. Far better to risk imperfection than to live with the regret of never having tried.
The pressures aren’t real. Everyone is just as confused as you are. Feeling lost, making a mess of things, and regular embarrassment are all very normal. Shed the illusion of absolute certainty and relax.
Give yourself room to process. Travel around your inner history and muse on the meaning of your experiences. This is where small epiphanies happen - where we find continuity between the places we’ve been and the direction we now want to go.
See it big, keep it simple. Get clear about what you really want. Allow yourself a full, bold vision - don’t shrink it down to what seems practical. Feel what having it would be like, and let that energy pull you forward. The path is simpler than we make it - just take the natural next step.
He’s five for five 💯
Me encantó Javi 🥰💕
